And all of our productions – from a 30-second commercial, to a web based interactive project, to a broadcast documentary – are marked by the commitment to great storytelling established by our founder, Ron Stone.

A Houston Chronicle article surveying his 40-year career, named Ron Stone “the most popular and revered news anchor Houston has ever known.” In 1991 he worked with his son, Billy, to recruit a team of veteran writers, producers, videographers, and editors for Stonefilms. Since that time, Stonefilms has grown into one of most respected production facilities in the United States. Ron passed away in 2008 but his passion for excellence is both our foundation and
his lasting legacy.
