RON STONE, founded Stonefilms in 1991 after a 40 plus year career in broadcast television. He and his son Billy assembled a team of dedicated professionals of writers, producers, editors, and shooters that followed Ron's passion for excellence in television production and digital storytelling.

The Houston Chronicle called Ron Stone " the most popular and revered news anchor Houston has ever known". Ron passed away in the summer of 2008, but his passion for excellence remains our legacy.

BILLY STONE was fired from his newscasting job at the University of Texas due to his thick Texas accent, and has vowed to be behind the scenes ever since. Billy's focus is on client relationships, and he is most proud of the large number of Stonefilms' repeat Clients.

PAT STONE is the glue that keeps the company strong. Pat is the Chief Financial Officer of Stonefilms, and has also been married to Ron Stone for over 40 Years.

RON STONE, JR. promised his father at an early age that he wouldn’t go into television news, but kids never listen, so of course Ron Jr. spent 15 years as a writer, producer, and reporter at Houston’s KPRC-TV. At Stonefilms Ron Jr. makes his love of writing a useful tool for our clients.
