Speaking Events Over the course of five decades, Ron Stone has been in demand as a public speaker at venues across Texas and America. With his strong background in journalism, and natural gifts as a storyteller, Ron is able to reach out to his audiences in an unforgettable way. Ron’s speech topics often reflect his great love of Texas history, but he will tailor his topic to your needs. In just the first half of 2004 Ron was the master of ceremonies in Kingsville, Texas, to mark the 100th anniversary of the King Ranch, and emceed events for the Texas Secretary of Agriculture, the Mayor of Houston, and the 41st President of the United States, George H.W. Bush. Ron Stone, Jr. made his speaking debut at age 11, when his father called him on stage to make an “assist” during one of Ron Sr.’s speeches on the Civil War. It was only natural, then, that Ron, Jr. follows in his father’s footsteps as a public speaker. Ron Jr. puts a lifelong love of history to vivid use in his educational and motivational speeches.
